Auth.net TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Changes

Authorize.net is updating its system again. As an account holder, you may be receiving messages to encourage you to get in touch with your website providers and developers.

Of course, you are always welcome to get in touch with us. However, we want to reassure you that if you did receive any of the messages below, our team is aware of Auth.net's upcoming changes and have made updates throughout the SiteWrench system to accommodate for these changes well ahead of their deadline.

Authorize.Net has decided to extend our deadline from September 18, 2017. The new date for when we will no longer allow TLS 1.0 and 1.1 is February 28, 2018.

3DES Cipher Retirement

As previously communicated, we are still planning to retire the 3DES cipher in production on September 18th. Please make sure that your systems can support this change.

If you have any additional questions about your Authorize.net account or how these changes might affect you, you can submit a support ticket and we’ll be glad to help.
